Need to rebuild? Hide your units
If you've suffered a setback and need to rebuild your army, it can be hard while raids keep landing. Now you can hide your units from attacks and build your army back up until it's ready to fight back. Hidden units stay on their base, still consuming its helium, but take no part in any battle, so an attack can't destroy them.
How to hide units
- Update Moonbase to the latest version.
- Open one of your moonbases and tap a unit type.
- Tap HIDE. Every unit of that type at home on that base is hidden. Units you build later arrive unhidden, so tap HIDE again after each batch.
To bring them back, tap UNHIDE on the same unit type. Both happen straight away.
If you don't see HIDE, either there are no units of that type at home, or your rank is above the halfway mark and you're fair game.
What a hidden unit does
- It doesn't defend your base, so it won't help you when you're attacked.
- It can't be sent anywhere: not on an attack, a reinforcement, a supply or a transfer.
- It still consumes helium. If your base consumes more helium than it produces, hidden units can be destroyed like any other.
- It doesn't appear in battle reports, or in the unit count your clan's officers see.
Who can hide units
Players in the bottom half of the rankings, and anyone who hasn't scored yet. If you climb into the top half, you keep whatever you've already hidden and can always bring it back out. You just can't hide more until you drop back into the bottom half.
Great stuff!
