Support for Moonbase, a real-time strategy game for Android and iOS, published by Blauhaus Technology (Pty) Ltd.

Getting help

Email info@play-moonbase.co.za. We read everything that arrives and we aim to respond within 7 days.

It helps us a great deal if you include:

  • Your player handle, and the name of the game you are playing in
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
  • Roughly when it happened
  • Your device and, if you know it, the app version

Signing in

Moonbase signs you in with your Google account. If you are signed in as the wrong account, open the menu and choose SIGN OUT, then sign in again and pick the account you want — you will be asked which one to use rather than being returned to the last one automatically.

If the app cannot reach the game it will say so and offer to reconnect. A game you have joined keeps running while you are away, so nothing is lost by closing the app.

Another player is behaving badly

Open a chat with that player — tap the chat button on their panel, in the players list or on the map — then tap the three dots at the top of the chat and choose BLOCK to stop them messaging you, or REPORT to tell us about them. To report a single message, tap the time beside it and choose REPORT. Our Community Guidelines set out what is not allowed, how reporting works, and what we do about it.

Being attacked or raided is not a breach of the rules — it is how the game is played.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, and you can cancel the request for 30 days afterwards. What is removed, what is kept, and why, is set out on Deleting your account.

Losing progress when a game ends

This is how Moonbase works rather than a fault. A game runs for a fixed life and then finishes; the clan on top when it finishes wins it, and every active member of that clan is awarded a medal. Medals stay with your account. The world does not — progress belongs to the game it happened in, so every new game starts everybody level.
